The room was outdated, the shower barely worked, and I had to sit at a weird angle on the toilet. Plus, the noise from the next room made it impossible to relax. Not great!

The hotel was in a peaceful position next to a beautiful pub, Twycross zoo, and the battlefield in good time for set up, which was much appreciated. It also was to event I was attending. The room was welcoming and decent sized, exceptionally helpful staff. The food was good and there were a wide range of dishes in the menu.

Excellent hotel at the price, very convenient for Mallory Park Race Circuit - I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to friends.

Manager was stressed at times but overall his jovial nature overcame any need to complain - I could sympathise with his predicaments!

Very clean, well planned and laid out room. The facilities in the room were very good and the condition of equipment was also very good. Parking excellent and atmosphere very good too. Although the water wheel in the restaurant was a little loud and offputting, as we both had to go to the loo due to the watery sounds whilst at breakfast!

Service was very friendly but a little too laid back at times, meaning we often had to wait.
